How it Works
Canvas Pattern
Starting with a random seed, a varied plasma gradient creates a random colorful print. The print is then reflected horizontally and vertically to create a tile pattern.
Depth Map
The five letter word is rendered in picture form with a gradient and additional image processing to create a depth map for the autostereogram processing algorithm.
Final Stereogram
The single image stereogram (SIS), or autostereogram is then created by adjusting pixels from the tiles in accordance with the depth map. The result is a unique 3D image of the five letter word.
